Introduction:
It is an international, voluntary, non-governmental organization offering aid to victims of wars, natural disaster, immigrants and refugees. Its founders have chosen the name of Humanitarian Aid & Development Organization as it aims to aid humans whatever they are and to utilize human and scientific potentials to optimum levels. The organization uses modern scientific methods to develop poor societies and establish healthy social growth of the masses through the provision of basic structures of health, social services and developing work fields .
The organization supports the correction of environment, creates awareness of human rights and makes efforts in spreading Islamic culture in its true essence. It also encourages scientific research and researchers in specialized fields.
The organization cooperates with and seeks the aid of international donor agencies such as the United Nations and other prominent charitable organizations to achieve its targets and objectives.
The services of the organization are sans borders. In addition to Sudan, it has enhanced its sphere of influence by opening offices in Chad and Yemen.
The organization has established health projects of huge magnitude in the Republic of Yemen. It continues to implement extremely healthy social projects in coordination with the Ministry of health, population and popular charity.
Yemen is a country of diverse geographical landscapes. It has virtually everything ranging from lofty mountains, peaceful golden sandy beaches to lush green valleys. Although there are large reserves of unexploited petroleum and precious stones yet most of the population is largely dependent upon agriculture. Maize, wheat and barley are all grown on an extensive scale.
The land of Sheba as Yemen is traditionally known is rich in culture. In some places one cannot help thinking that time has frozen. In this fast moving world of super sonic jets, space travel and internet it is astounding to see how people dearly cling onto their cultural and traditional values.
