Introduction:
Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization (HAD) is Voluntary non Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1999 in compliance to the call for intervention to render humanitarian aid in a world suffering from depletion of resources , multitudes of problems as well as fluctuations of natural condition and political and security situations .

HAD undertakes to render its consolidation without any governmental ,political influences or lias according to sex, religion , ethnicity or color .
 
The organization is endeavoring to realize development with mankind as the main target for being the most important element in the process of development and consequently being the means and end in itself. It further caters for the main element of development such as education and health in addition to his allowing to participate in all steps of the process ,planning ,execution ,follow up and assessment .
 
General Objectives :
- Development of targeted societies and its upgrading from recipient societies to ones participating in development as well as boosting of its capacities to undergo a free and decent living .
- Render consolidation for the displaced .
- Combat of illiteracy and encouragement of education for being one of the foundations of development .
 
Financing :
- Members’ subscriptions .
- Unconditional donations and gifts .
- Participation of targeted societies .
- Joint projects with local , regional and international organizations and the UN’s organizations and specialized agencies .
 
Work Sites :
Had functions in each of :
- Southern Sudan
- Southern kordofan
- Blue Nile
- Darfur
- Khartoum
 
Mines Combat:
- The organization executed a training session in collaboration with roots (guzur) organization where twenty five candidates were trained in the field of enlightenment with the mines risks and the technique of its detection and dealing with them .

- The organization had also carried out a number of lectures in its different school in each of southern Kordofan, blue Nile and equatoria for dissemination of knowledge of mines hazard .

- The organization signed cooperation agreements with the Abrar organization functioning in the aspect of rehabilitation of the disabled because of mines as well as with the Nuba mountains organization for mines combat .also, the organization undertook ( with the Abrar voluntary organization ) the promotion fro a project in the aspect of rehabilitation of the disabled and those affected by mines , the project is pending study for finance by donor organs .
