Sudan, which hosts over one million land mine, is rated among the top ten host countries of land mines world-wide. With about 32% of its area hosting land mines, it also hosts post war unexploded ammunitions. HAD is an active member of the Sudanese de-mining campaign.
In this regard, it pays a special attention to awareness raising and capacity building in coordination with the United Nations.
